Question: Out of the three resorts in universal studios Orlando which is the best to stay in for your 21st birthday?
It’s going to be my 21st birthday in October and I want to go to city walk but im not sure which hotel to stay in. Which hotel would you stay in? The Hard Rock, the royal pacific, or the Portofino?

Answer:

Answer by Into The Wild
I particularly love the Portofino Bay, because it’s beautiful and far enough away from the commotion so it’s not too loud, but it’s still close enough that you can follow a walkway to the parks or take a boat. I really like how it’s modeled after Italy; it’s got a wonderful feel to it, and it’s pretty classy but still casual. The food is delicious, as well. However, if you’re looking for something more fun, I suggest the Hard Rock Hotel. It’s definitely louder, but it’s more interesting. There’s a lot more going on there than at Portofino Bay. I haven’t heard much about the Royal Pacific. All three hotels are easily accessible to the parks by boat or walking.

Definitely hit up Margaritaville on City Walk, too!

Question: How can I get the Dining Plan if I stay at two Disney resorts in the same week?
I plan to stay at the Music for 3 days and the Caribbean for 2 days. I don’t see anywhere online that I can book a quick service dining plan with it. Of course, we plan to buy tickets to the parks as well.
Any ideas?

Answer:

Answer by The Cheshire
For doing that it would be far easier to call and book directly through an agent rather than online. I know many people who have done that, and though it can be a pain to pack up and move to a different resort it is very possible.

Have a great time!

Question: What are some kid friendly resorts to stay at in Wisconsin Dells?
When you name a resort, could you tell me what it’s like, & what attractions are near it?

Answer:

Answer by nowwhat?
the wilderness resort is probably THE most kid friendly. its also one of the more reasonably priced resorts, its super clean, the staff is awesome

theres 8 waterparks in and around it, you could exhaust yourself just staying on the grounds. all the slides are amazing, and there are shuttles that can take you from one end of the resort to the other if you dont feel like having to hoof it from here to there

there are great restaurants in it as well.

http://www.wisdells.com/ is THE dells website. it lists anything and everything there is to do in the dells. you should go for a ride on the ducks, thats worth doing at least once. pirates cove is AWESOME if anyone you know loves mini golf. second round is half price if you go again within 24 hours. ummm what else…oh, theres this thing called Wizard Quest and it looks a little hokey from the outside but its actually a lot of fun, its this whole fairy tale land set up and you have to go through it to find four lost wizards and theres puzzles and stuff to find them. theres lots to do, its all listed on that website

Question: What resorts are the best to stay at in Bali?
Me and a group of friends (6 of us) are going to Bali for Schoolies. We want to stay in either Kuta or Legian and want it to be a cheap but fun place to stay. Preferably with a great pool!

Answer:

Answer by Pete O
I can understand you asking for a recommendation in Kuta as there is literally hundreds of places to stay at in the area.

The best way to choose a place is to go to www.asiarooms.com or www.agoda.com and choose a place that suits you. Each site has an area for comments by people who have stayed there so you can get some first hand feedback.

Also try www.tripadvisor.com for comments.

Question: Does anyone know the best resorts to stay at in Hawaii for a honeymoon?
I am trying to find an amazing honeymoon resort. Yet still stay under $ 800 a night. If anyone has any advice, please let me know. Thank you!

Answer:

Answer by happycat21
Kauai is just beautiful….we stayed at the Marriott there, and I think it was absolutely awesome. Definitely under 800 a night.

Great restaurants, great rooms, the grounds were beautiful, it was right on Kapalupa (sp?) Bay, there were exercise classes, salons, everything.

Waikiki Beach is good to see for a couple days, climb Diamond Head and gawk at the people. But for real beauty, you can’t beat Kauai. Honolulu is over rated. It is a city with a bunch of beaches and hotels.

If you go to Kauai, try to take a whale watch around the Nepali Coast (no roads even to get there it is so reclusive). Our whale watch was awesome, we saw tons of dolphins and a couple whales.

Just beware of all the roosters running around the island. Legend has it that when Kauai had a huge hurricane several years ago, all the roosters got out and now they cockle doodle doo any time of day or night because they are so confused. LOL. It was pretty funny.

Question: How do hoteliers get people to stay at their resorts?
Like all these people who have these huge hotels in big cities… Do they really get enough rooms occupied that they actually make a profit, no matter how small it is?

Answer:

Answer by Califrich
They do it through advertising and word of mouth. Much of the business of large hotels comes through conventions, so a good bit of advertising goes into trade publications. They are profitable, of course, or they would go out of business. Nobody goes into business to lose money.

Question: What are some of the top lodges/ski resorts for married couples to stay at in Colorado?
My husband and I want to try something different. We went to Vegas in June and had a good time, but I want to find something more romantic to do. Neither of us has ever been skiing before, but we really want to try something out of the norm. I am thinking of a romantic five night trip sitting in front of the fire sipping on cocoa and eating marshmallows. We would rent a car so we could take a tour of the city.

Any suggestions? Nothing that is ridiculously expensive. We will be flying out of DFW.

Answer:

Answer by PC
Aspen is always very, very nice (though a bit expensive). A little cheaper is Vail. For mid ranged prices, there’s Winter Park and Breckenridge. Wolf Creek is also nice, less ski runs but much less crowded(and built up), a bit isolated from what i recall of it.

Question: Is it better to stay inside Disney world at one of the Disney resorts or get a motel close to Disney?
I am planning my first disneyworld vacation for my grandchildren and would like any info on what to expect and if the savings of staying outside a Disney resort would be a good bet.

Answer:

Answer by Sally
Well i’ve been 2 disney before and personally its more convenient to stay in Disney especially if you have grandchildren so it’s easier to get to the theme parks. The cost of staying inside disney arent that high, depending on the hotel you choose to stay in. Over all, staying in Disney is a good bet. Hope this helps!
