i can try too help you..i live close to tahoe..i know there’s some cabin’s up in tahoe but they are on the california side..but there’s also a couple good hotels in lake tahoe on the nevada side & you can see the lake from the hotel room (if you stay at a hotel) there’s a bunch of things you can do in tahoe..there’s little shops, there’s a movie theater, there’s some restaurants that you can eat at..there’s so much to do up there.

What are you planning on doing in Orlando? If Disney World is part of the plan then the best thing would be to stay in a Disney Resort. They have resorts for all budgets and there are several perks that come along with being a Disney Resort guest (i.e. free Magical Express transport from/to Orlando International Airport, Extra Magic Hours in the theme parks, etc.). The Disney resorts offer kids’ activities and also offer babysitting services in group settings and in-room. You would have to contact Disney for the full details.

Try a beaches Resort as they are very family oriented. The have them in Jamaica, Punta Cana and Turks & Caicos. They tend to be somewhat pricey but are worth the money

I am planning for a road trip to Daytona Beach from KY. Its going to be me & two others in my family (no kids). My wife is very concerned about safety issues & our other relative is new to the country. We have never been to Daytona Beach & thought to go there. Where in the Midwest? I grew up going to Boyne Highlands near Petoskey, Michigan. Our family was able to ski/snowboard together even though everyone was at varying levels… plus they have a lot of skiable acres for the Midwest.
Question: Why Do You Think The Popularity Of Family Resorts Has Died Down?
Especially along upstate New York, in the Catskill Mountains regions, starting in the 1930s and 1940s many vacationed at family resorts that were pretty much secluded from the outside world.
They declined greatly in the 1980s and majority of them closed down by the late 1990s. Why do you think majority of people no longer went to mountain resorts?
