Why is it wrong?
Holidays are very busy times for ski resorts. If they don’t raise prices they become too crowded, which is no fun for anyone skiing.
Think of it another way. The real price is what they charge on holidays and they lower their price for people who want to ski on ordinary days.

I would go to a travel agent and have them help. Tell them your budget and they can give you several options.
And there are several places you can go: Cancun, Punta Cana, Jamaica, Aruba, etc. that have All Inclusive places
You will also need a Passport to travel to these places so start now to get your passports for travel and save your money for the airfare, hotel, and extra shopping you might want to do.

Don’t know which coast you are on, but there is a Club Med on both coasts of Mexico. Totally all-inclusive. I have had friends that have gone and they had great times. So much going on. It is like taking a cruise as everything is paid for up front, except the booze.
Personally I would go for finding a nice hotel and not stay holed up there. It is so much fun to get out to the local area and see what is going on.
Take your days and explore, see the sites. Come away from Mexico with more then remembering just the clubs. Get out and find the feel of Mexico.
Why go down there to stay in an Americanized resort? You could go to Disneyland. See Mexico. The hotel will help you find local places that are nice.
The fun of going to some place new is to not feel like you are at home.
Our best trip was to Mazatlan. A smaller tourist place, not like Acapulco or Puerto Vallarta. We were on a tight budget back in those days so we stayed at the cheapest hotel on the beach. We were surrounded by big hotels and high rise condos and time shares. Guess were everyone ended up at night? You got it the cheapest hotel on the beach as it had the best band and the liveliest bar.
Do your homework and check out everything you can find on where you want to go. Check reviews from other people.

I have stayed at All Inclusives in Cancun, Riviera Maya, and Jamaica. I just got back from Cancun 2 weeks ago and got a great deal through cheaptickets.com. They beat everyones price. We stayed at the Riu Caribe. I like Riu but this one was isolated. Going back I would stay at the Riu Cancun. It is within walking distance of shopping, Senior Frogs, CoCo Bongo. Cancun is shaped like a 7. All of the hot spots are at the bend of the 7. Top right. I have heard that the Oasis properties are party spots. Temptations resort is a hot spot for couples and singles.

Well, it depends on where in Mexico you want to go. If you’re planning Cancun-Mayan Riviera there are plenty of good all-inclusive resorts for people your age. Some of the best I know are:
In Cancun:

JW Marriott
Aqua
In Riviera Maya:
Fairmont Mayacoba
Mayan Palace
Blue Bay
Personally I liked Blue Bay a lot. Lots of young people, nice bars, good atmosphere.
My recommendation is: check for those resorts that are adult-only (very few actually). The rest should be good options.
If you are planning to go to Los Cabos or somewhere else (Puerto Vallarta, Ixtapa, Acapulco) check on the www.tripadvisor.com, they have some good information about all-inclusive resorts.
