Question: Can anyone recommend beach/tropical resorts to vacation for young adult friends?
My best friend and I are going to plan a vacation for the summer but don’t know where the best places to look for are. We want to have fun, but also know we don’t want to go to Cancun. If anyone can help give suggestions, it would be really appreciated. =) Thanks!

Question: Does anyone know the best resorts to stay at in Hawaii for a honeymoon?
I am trying to find an amazing honeymoon resort. Yet still stay under $ 800 a night. If anyone has any advice, please let me know. Thank you!

Kauai is just beautiful….we stayed at the Marriott there, and I think it was absolutely awesome. Definitely under 800 a night.

Great restaurants, great rooms, the grounds were beautiful, it was right on Kapalupa (sp?) Bay, there were exercise classes, salons, everything.

Waikiki Beach is good to see for a couple days, climb Diamond Head and gawk at the people. But for real beauty, you can’t beat Kauai. Honolulu is over rated. It is a city with a bunch of beaches and hotels.

If you go to Kauai, try to take a whale watch around the Nepali Coast (no roads even to get there it is so reclusive). Our whale watch was awesome, we saw tons of dolphins and a couple whales.

Just beware of all the roosters running around the island. Legend has it that when Kauai had a huge hurricane several years ago, all the roosters got out and now they cockle doodle doo any time of day or night because they are so confused. LOL. It was pretty funny.

Question: Can anyone tell me about their experiences at Hedonism resorts?
My fiance and I are planning our honeymoon for next May. After a lot of research we’ve decided that we’d like to attend a Hedonism resort, probably Hedonism III…we’re both open-minded and free-spirited individuals. So now I’m just looking for other people to share their Hedonism experiences so we can see what there is to look forward to and/or plan accordingly. Thanks!
Please, only answer this if you’ve been there. I’m not interesting in someone telling me that we’ll need a divorce lawyer (we won’t, just because you’re unhappy and luckless doesn’t mean we are) or that we’re living in sin (I don’t believe we are). I asked for your experiences. If you don’t have any, and are only answering this for the points, please don’t.

Ya, Ok. Go to a porn site sweetie. Don’t forget to save up a lot of $ $ $ , you’ll need it for the divorce lawyer.

Question: Does anyone know if a netbook will fit in the room safes at Disney World resorts?
I want to know if the opening of the room safes, at the all-stare music resort, will allow a small net book.

Answer:

Answer by Anna
I think so, I do not remember exact size but I was able to fit my travel package which was appr. same size with netbook. If you have doubts just call them or even better stick it in you bags or between clothes, so it would not be in a view of housekeeping if this is what you worry about. They definitely do not touch unpacked staff.

Question: Does anyone know the drink recipe for Jamaican Smiles, the recipe used at the Sandals Resorts?
I want this recipe they use at Sandals. I believe it may be appleton rum, ice, strawberry mix, pinacolada mix, 1 banana, ect. I am not exactly sure and I do not know the correct ratios!

Answer:

Answer by OctoberGirl
I couldn’t find any recipes for this. You can try to contact Sandals, directly, but I’m not sure they’ll answer you. I tried to get a recipe for the Dirty Banana drink at a Holiday Inn, and they haven’t responded. Good Luck.

Question: Has anyone been on a honeymoon to Moon Palace or Cancun Palace resorts?
What did you think of it? My fiance and I are looking into all-inclusive packages and want to find the best bang for our buck. Some family friends have recommended Moon Palace Resort. I’ve done some research on this resort already, but I just wanted to hear feedback from those who have actually been there. Is it romantic? Is the food good? Are there plenty of opportunities to be alone without interruption from kids? We don’t have kids, but it would be nice if other people’s kids weren’t in our way for our vacation.

Answer:

Answer by Luis Felipe
Hola:
Moon Palace is, like other resorts in Riviera Maya, a big place. They (and others) have very nice rooms, large common areas, beautiful gardens, very nice beach, several restaurants, excellent service. good and varied food, fun entertainment, etc. etc.; but they also have large crowds. With over 2000 (two thousand) hotel rooms even at 50% occupancy there are around 2000 people. The size and arrangement of the place minimizes this, but still there are lots of people.
Cancun Palace, like other hotels in Cancun/Riviera Maya, are ‘mid-size’ and will be much quieter. The service, rooms, etc. are still top class. Food is less varied with less restaurants per hotel but still very good.

I am focusing my answer to your concerns about ‘time alone’. There are other factors in your question, I hope my comments do help a bit in your decision making process.

Question: Does anyone know of good all inclusive resorts in mexico with kids clubs?
We are looking for resorts that have 1 or 2 bedroom suites for our family of 5.

Answer:

Answer by Macaw_Lover
There is the Omni Cancun & Villa’s that might be an option for you. There really aren’t a lot of options in Mexico for families of 5. Most of the time families depending on if they find availability at the few places that do accomodate that many might end up having to purchase 2 rooms.

There might be condo options, but none I have heard of…..

There are a few options in the Caribbean that accomodate families of 5. Best of luck and remember book in advance because when you have limited places that allow that many in a room they go quickly. There are some Mexico hotels that will only allow 3 in a room. You can have the reservations cross referenced to try and get you either next to each other or close, but it isn’t guarenteed.

I would definately go with a good agent on this. Find yourself a good one and they will figure out the best option for your family.

Have Fun!

Question: Can anyone recommend any countries/resorts for a tropical honeymoon on a budget?
Im planning our honeymoon for later this year and we really want to go somewhere special…with white sands, blue warms sea etc. But all the places i have looked at are excessively large amounts of money! We have a budget of £1500-2000 and i was hoping for some ideas…could be a country or a resort you know of…anything is appreciated!

Answer by jellybeancounter
You don’t say when exactly you’d be going, but if you plan on going after October, I’d recommend the Caribbean. I’m not sure how much flights would be but the hotels should be relatively inexpensive then since it’s not the high season. The Britsh Virgin Islands (as well as the US Virgin Islands) are supposed to be beautiful. There are lots of other islands to choose from too.
